Stretch Marks
Stretch marks are an extremely common type of scar and can affect men and woman of all ages. They are usually associated with rapid growth and occur commonly during puberty and pregnancy. They can also be a by-product of either excess weight gain or rapid weight loss and can leave an unsightly meshing of small scars that can cause distress.
Stretch occur when the skin is stretched and overstressed or as a result of rapid growth or increased oestrogen levels, as is the case in pregnancy.
To reduce stretch marks the scar tissue must be revised and the skin repaired with the appropriate products and treatments.
Until recently there has been no satisfactory way of improving stretch marks but with recent additions to the non-surgical market, we have several combination approaches to drastically improving these troublesome and unsightly scars.
Used in isolation or in combination, depending on area and need, we use skin revision treatments from Danne Montague-King, Genuine Dermal Roller and Endymed Pro. In combination these treatments give successful and measurable results.
