Skin tags are small flesh-coloured growths that hang off the skin. They can sometimes be darker in colour depending on the age of the tag. Skin tags can easily be mistaken for warts, but they are usually a few millimetres in size and often found in places of friction, normally found on the neck, underarms, under the breasts, around the groin area and eyelids.
Skin tags are harmless and do not cause any pain or discomfort. However, they can cause irritation and often look cosmetically displeasing, leading to patients seeking a safe an effective method of removal.
The treatment process for the removal of skin tags is very effective and they can usually be removed in one session of Advanced Cosmetic Procedure (ACP) or Nano Plasma.
