Sebacious Hyperplasia are usually firm benign lumps on the skin that grow gradually over several years, usually as a result of an over productive oil gland.
Damaged and over stimulated oil glands in the skin become enlarged and clogged, the end result presenting as a firm white rim with a depressed centre.
It is not uncommon to have several of these lumps at once, sometimes in small clusters and they are most commonly found on the forehead and central part of the face.
Sebacious Hyperplasis can be removed in a number of different ways and often combinations of treatments and active topical creams will be used to gain the best effective result.
