Veruccas
A verruca is a type of wart usually found on the bottom of the foot. Essentially it is the same as a common wart, however due to the weight that the body presses it into the foot it is aesthetically different and they can also be painful. Like other warts, verrucas are caused by strains of papillomavirus.
Though unsightly, the main problem with veruccas is the pain and discomfort caused by the position of the verruca. Anyone can develop a verruca and they can be particularly stubborn to remove.
Verrucas can be stubborn to treat but there are various effective treatment methodologies depending on age and lifestyle. Often a combination of treatments will give a quicker, more effective resolution.
