How does the Spectra Carbon Peel work?
The Spectra Carbon Peel is an advanced multi-platform laser treatment with three depth settings to suit all skin types. The peel is the equivalent of four chemical peels in one, removing up to 80 microns of dead skin cells from the epidermis. After cleansing the skin, a black carbon face mask is applied and the laser is passed over it several times, eliminating the dried carbon solution and taking any dead skin cells and impurities with it.
The skin is warmed and the surface exfoliated, while deeper down pigments are broken up. The effects are immediate as well as long-term. The Spectra Carbon Peel instantly resurfaces and rejuvenates the skin, creating a healthy and glowing complexion, whilst stimulating and remodelling collagen fibres for a plumper surface.
This laser peel minimises the risk of damage and inflammation to skin’s surface, making it a safe treatment for all skin types, especially problem and uneven skin tones that don’t want the downtime associated with conventional peels.
