Nano Plasma is a quick and easy procedure for the removal of skin formations, like verrucae, xanthelasma, fibromas, skin tags and warts. We treat them all here at Face the Future Clinic.
How does Nano Plasma work?
Nano Plasma is the latest evolution of plasma devices, initially created by the worldwide "Plasma Guru" Professor Giorgio Fippi. This plasma device combines existing and new technology to bring you the most innovative and advanced Plasma device in the aesthetics market. Nano Plasma has been created to generate 2 types of plasma - Cathodic (negative) and Anodic (positive) plasma. This emits alternating currents ionising the gases in the air and producing nano plasma. The device works by utilising electrons, protons and plasma to promote the sublimation of the skin offering an extremely precise treatment. Cathodic plasma has an almost antibiotic effect, which fights germs and also acts as a temporary vasoconstrictor, which eliminates swelling during the procedure and reduces erythema (redness)post treatment.
Nano Plasma is a non-ablative treatment that uses a fine probe which discharges an energy current, working to immediately reduce lumps and bumps, turning them into an instant scab and killing off any viruses present. The treatment feels a little uncomfortable but is short lived. As the treatment uses sublimation, there may be a slight burning odour during treatment which is completely normal.
Duration of treatment – 15-30 minutes, depending on the size of the blemish being treated.
Anaesthesia required – None.
