Kimberley - Clinic Manager 
 
Kimberley has worked within the beauty/cosmetic sector for the last 22 years, the last 5 years within Aesthetics at Face the Future Clinic. 
 
She loves constantly learning and making sure the team are confident and are trained to the highest standards about new products, treatments, tips and techniques and how this will help all our client’s journeys. Kimberley is very proud of the Face the Future team in terms of their dedication to their work and how the team help each other and all their clients feel relaxed, welcome and achieve their desired results.

A. Clinic Manager. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. I was born in the Isle of Man, but have lived in Leeds for the last 36 years. 
 
Q. How did you get your start in skin aesthetics? 
A. My career started in beauty therapy working in salons, then into cosmetic retail and becoming a regional manager for a cosmetic company travelling around the country. I then wanted to be closer to home for my son so I pursued a career in aesthetics and have been at Face the Future ever since. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. Very varied and busy! No two days are the same. I have a balance of admin work, treating clients and training and support for my team. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I love all the treatments I do, but I get the most satisfaction from treating clients with skin conditions that effect their everyday life. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I have a fantastic team, we are like a big happy family and I love the location/surroundings of the clinic. The best part is seeing clients confidence grow after helping them achieve their desired results. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work?I 
A. I love spending time with friends and family. 
Jane - Nurse Prescriber 
 
Jane qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2006 and spent the first 2 years of her nursing career working in Surgical Assessment and Urology at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. She followed this with time spent working in Plastic Surgery in Perth, Western Australia. Jane has worked in the Aesthetics industry for the last 11 years, qualifying as a Nurse Independent Prescriber in 2017. 
 
Jane is passionate about helping others to feel more confident about their appearance. She is keen to deliver natural looking, holistic results, while maintaining patient safety and care. She is a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert group and undertakes regular training to keep her knowledge and skills up to date. 
 
Jane understands that choosing to have aesthetic treatments can sometimes feel daunting, so endeavours to make people feel welcome, comfortable and well informed throughout their treatment journey.

Q. Where are you from? 
A. I grew up in Bolton ad moved to Huddersfield in 2003 to start Nursing at the University of Hudersfield. 
 
Q. How did you get your start in skin aesthetics? 
A. I left the NHS in 2008 to travel and work abroad. After nursing in Australia I realised that I no longer wanted to work in the NHS and began my journey into aesthetics. With a more recent focus on advanced skincare. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. I often have a busy diary with varied treatments and consultations. Taking clients photos for before and after my treatment I love to see the change we can make in an instant with some of the treatments I do. Everyday I try to enhance my knowledge with training and development and more often then not you will see me with a cup of tea (usually a cold one). 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. Profhilo 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. Giving someone their confidence and smile back. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work?I 
A. Spending time with my young family and friends, Long walks, trips to the theatre and I am always on Rightmove looking at houses. 
Melissa - Nurse Prescriber 
 
Melissa trained as a nurse graduating in 2013. During her nursing career she worked in district nursing, gaining a wealth of experience. For the past 3.5 years Melissa has worked as a lead practice nurse, during this time she qualified as a nurse independent prescriber. 
 
Melissa has always had a passion for aesthetics and all things skin and decided to leave the NHS and pursue her dream by joining Face the Future Clinic. 
 
Melissa is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses and Aesthetics Expert complications group who are the leading governing bodies in the aesthetic industry. 
 
She is extremely passionate about patient safety and strives to promote natural, subtle enhancements to ensure clients achieve the best results. 
 
Melissa keeps up to date with new procedures and techniques and continues to develop in this ever changing industry.

Q. Where are you from? 
A. Leeds. 
 
Q. How did you get your start in skin aesthetics? 
A. I have always wanted to be an Aesthetics nurse. After completing my nursing degree and gaining experience as a district nurse I then completed a prescribing course and pursued my aesthetics career. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. Involves lots of injectable treatments, refreshing all skills, and training in new treatments. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I really enjoy dermal fillers, creating natural enhancements is definitely my favourite. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I am very lucky to get to work with an amazing team and be able to provide the very best treatments and procedures to our lovely clients. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work?I 
A. I am a super busy mum of 4 and I can often be found at the side of a football pitch cheering on the boys. 
Jessica - Laser/skin practitioner 
 
Jessica has worked at Face the Future Clinic since 2018. What she loves about working in the clinic is that every day is different. All the treatments make a huge difference to her clients skin, confidence and self esteem, therefore she finds the job very rewarding. 
 
Jessica started working in the beauty industry as a beauty therapist working in salons and spas to build her competence and experience. Because she loved it so much she decided to teach it as her specialist subject, teaching all aspects of beauty therapy. As the beauty industry grew more towards non surgical treatments and procedures, this path interested her and so decided to move into aesthetics.

A. Clinician. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. West Yorkshire, Low Moor Bradford. 
 
Q. How did you get your start in skin aesthetics? 
A. I have always been interested in skin and I suffered with acne myself so wanted to know the chemistry behind it. I did beauty therapy as a school leaver then went on to work in the industry. I became a beauty lecturer in 2018 and missed the practical side of it helping others achieve their skin goals so I came back into it when I joined Face the Future. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. No day is the same, no skin is the same, everyday is tailored to the clients’ concerns. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I enjoy all the treatments I do and they are all varied however, my favourite one at the minute is the All Skinmed treatment as there are lots of different elements to it and there is little downtime for the customer. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. The people I work with and seeing the transformations in people's skin. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. I love to spend quality time with my daughter, family and friends. Trying to keep active and live the simple life. 
Tabby - Laser/skin practitioner 
 
Tabby has her Level 3 Beauty and Level 4 Laser and IPL qualifications gained at the London School of Beauty. 
 
She is known for her ability to offer prescriptive, highly personal treatments with a genuine care for the well-being of others. She is passionate about delivering the best results and will always talk through your concerns with a friendly, warm and professional approach. She takes care to ensure that each client has a thorough understanding of their bespoke treatment plan.

A. Laser and Skin practitioner. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. Grew up in Suffolk but now live in lovely Leeds. 
 
Q. How did you get your start in skin aesthetics? 
A. I started working in the spa and beauty industry and worked in that industry for just under 4 years but knew I wanted to progress my career and do more advanced treatments so I did Level 4 Laser training and have loved aesthetics ever since. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. Every day is different and were always nice and busy. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I LOVE Hydrafacial. The clients always leave looking fresh and glowy. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I love that we are always constantly learning things including new treatments and new products etc. Making a change to clients' skin will also always be so rewarding. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. Outside of work I love to go out for yummy food and explore new places. 
Suzanne - Receptionist/ Patient Co-ordinator 
 
Suzanne has been with the Face the Future Clinic for 11 years and in that time has gained a vast knowledge of treatments and products used within the clinic. As a part of the front of house team she is passionate about helping people at the very start of their skin journey and following them through to the end of their treatment and their results. She has trained alongside the practitioners in a wide range of products and treatments to enable her to aide patients. 
 
Having years of experience she is able to create a vast understanding of what patients’ needs are which enables her to provide excellent client service and care. 
Q. Clinic role? 
A. Receptionist/ Patient Co-ordinator. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. Originally born in South Yorkshire moved to Castleford in 2007. 
 
Q. How did you get your start in skin aesthetics? 
A. I moved from a job in Sales and Marketing to work in clinic following the birth of my son Harry. I have always loved beauty and skin and was excited to join a clinic that offered me so much in terms of advanced training and support in an industry I loved. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. My day is varied with both face to face customers and enquiries over the phone and email. I organise the clinic diary and make sure the clinicians have everything they need for the day ahead. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I don’t carry out treatments on clients however I see the amazing results that can be achieved by them. I would have to say my favourite treatment is the Cosmelan peel. The results that can be achieved are amazing. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I have the pleasure of meeting people at the start of the treatment journey and love to see how their confidence grows so much with each time they come in. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. I love to spend time watching films with my children and walking our family dog. When I’m not dog walking and with the kids, I love a good shopping trip with the girls. 
Clare - Receptionist/ Patient Co-ordinator 
 
Clare has been part of the team at Face the Future Clinic since 2018. As part of our front of house team, you will always be greeted by her smile and friendly nature. 
 
Clare enjoys meeting new people and making all clients feel welcome and valued from booking their appointment to leaving the clinic and beyond. Clare believes “everybody should feel like somebody”.

A. Receptionist/ Patient Co-ordinator. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. I'm from Rothwell. 
 
Q. How did you get your start in skin aesthetics? 
A. I've always been interested in skin. A job became available at the clinic and I thought it was the perfect job for me. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. My days are really busy and involve working with our clients. I engage with clients daily either, face to face, over the telephone and via email. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I love the team. I also enjoy working with and helping people look and feel their best. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A.I love watching my son play football and spending time with family and friends.
