How does Mesoestetic peels work?
Mesoestetic uses the most advanced range of chemical peels, which are formulated to treat hyperpigmentation, signs of each ageing stage and aesthetic concerns such as acne, rosacea and other skin concerns.
Mesoestetic uses 3 types of ingredients in the peels, which work on different levels of the skin ranging from superficial, medium and deep. The procedure is to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells to brighten, lighten and rejuvenate the skin.
The treatment requires use of a pre-peel pack two weeks prior to the treatment which will then form part of your ongoing skincare regime. A peel will then be carried out in clinic every 2- 4 weeks or more depending on the concern. The recommended course of treatment will offer enhanced results, changing the way your skin looks and feels.
Duration of treatment – 30 minutes dependent on the area to be treated.
Anaesthesia required – None.
Downtime – Post treatment you may experience slight erythema, dryness and skin shedding. This varies depending on the peel used.
Final results – You will notice a healthy glow to your skin post treatment, although the results will be progressive depending on the severity of the skin condition.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
The whole treatment is approximately 30 minutes. However, the length of time the peel is left on your skin depends on how the peel reacts with your skin type.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
You will notice a healthy glow to your skin post treatment, although the results will be progressive depending on the severity of the skin condition. To obtain the best results skin preparation and a full post-treatment follow-up is essential. Mesoestetic has a wide range of products for home use designed to prepare, improve and extend the results obtained in clinic. In consultation and throughout your treatment plan these will be discussed to achieve the best results possible.
DOES THE TREATMENT HURT AND HAVE ANY DOWNTIME?
You may experience a stinging or tingling sensation, followed by heat once the peel is neutralised. Each peel is different depending on the skin condition and depth of peel used. You may experience slight erythema, dryness and shedding post treatment.
WHO IS THIS TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR?

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
It depends on the skin type and condition treated; the average is 4 to 6 sessions with intervals every 2-4 weeks. We then recommended a maintenance peel every 6-12 months to maintain the condition of the skin and improve skin texture.
