How does Endymed Intensif work?
The ENDYMED INTENSIF treatment targets aged and tired skin, areas of deep lines, wrinkles and scars on your face and body. It significantly improves the treated areas leaving defined, revitalised skin. The results of this clinically proven treatment are natural and long-lasting, specifically smoother, tighter and sculpted skin. The procedure gives your skin an intensive workout, from the inside out at precise depths. It works by delivering intense pulses of radiofrequency precisely into your skin’s dermis using micro-needles. These stimulate a response in your skin where the treated tissue is encouraged over time to be replaced with new bundles of collagen revealing brighter healthier skin.
This treatment is fantastic for skin rejuvenation and one of our go treatments for acne scarring, this is because both radiofrequency and micro-needling are a power house duo as the needling triggers new collagen to form and radiofrequency helps to warm through the skin drying up any bacterial activity.
Duration of treatment – 1hr 15 minutes.
Anaesthesia required – Yes 30 minutes prior to the treatment.
Downtime – Immediately after the treatment you will experience some redness, which can last up to two days. The treated area may feel hot for 3-4 hours post treatment.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
1hr 15 minutes (including 30 mins for skin numbing).
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Post treatment your skin will feel tighter and smoother. Collagen takes time to regenerate and form, and because you’re stimulating your skin naturally, you won’t see the full effects of the treatment until 3 months or more after your course. You will, however, see short-term results after each treatment as your collagen contracts and forms a temporary filler this will usually disappear within 1-3 days.
DOES THE TREATMENT HURT AND HAVE ANY DOWNTIME?
As the skin is numbed prior to treatment, it shouldn’t be painful, but you may feel uncomfortable on sensitive areas of the face. Immediately after the treatment you will experience some redness, which can last up to two days. The treated area may feel hot for 3-4 hours post treatment a cool pack can be used to ease discomfort.
