A unique combination of two clinically proven technologies- Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling, using ultra-fine needles and a unique vacuum system, and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) - to lift, firm and tighten the skin.
How does Focus Dual work?
Radio Frequency Micro-Needling
RF Microneedling uses ultra-fine, sterilised needles to deliver heat directly to specific layers of the skin to improve skin elasticity, wrinkles, acne scarring, as well as lifting the skin. The needles stimulate a wound healing response, in a controlled manner, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin. Results are natural and get better and better over time.
HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)
This non-surgical face lift works on the SMAS layer, deep below the skin. This is the area that surgeon’s tighten for face and neck lifts. The HIFU offers a non-surgical alternative using ultrasound technology to radiate energy to the SMAS layer to tighten, lift and plump the skin.
Duration of treatment – From 45 minutes – 2 hours depending on the treatment and the areas treated.
Anaesthesia required – Most patients are comfortable during the procedures, but application of topical anaesthetic can be used if having the Micro needling Radio Frequency.
Downtime – Slight swelling, redness and tingling post treatment.
Final results – RF Microneedling: Results are natural and continue to improve over time, peaking 12 weeks following the final treatment.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
Treatments take between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on the areas being treated and procedure carried out.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
RF Microneedling results:
Most patients see an improvement 2-3 weeks after the first treatment. Results are natural and get better over time, peaking 12 weeks following the final treatment.
HIFU results:
Results can be seen immediately, and will continue to 12 weeks post-treatment.
DOES THE TREATMENT HURT AND HAVE ANY DOWNTIME?
RF Microneedling: It can cause a prickling sensation and feeling of heat. Slight swelling and redness are present immediately post-treatment. There’s a possibility of some micro crusting following the
HIFU: Due to the non-invasive nature of HIFU treatments, there is usually virtually no downtime. You may experience slight redness following the treatment, and a small percentage experience minor swelling, tingling or tenderness. These symptoms are mild and temporary..
WHO IS THIS TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR?
RF Microneedling: Those with Scarring, a need to improve Skin Texture, Fine lines and wrinkles and Stretch Marks.
HIFU: High Intensity Focused Ultrasound may not be appropriate for everyone. In general, the procedure works best on those with mild-to-moderate skin laxity, to help lift and tighten Jowls, Neck, Cheeks.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
RF Microneedling: Results can be seen after just one session. However, a minimum of 2 and up to 6 treatments, at 4-week intervals, deliver the best results, depending on the skin concern.
HIFU: 1-3 sessions may be required to lift and tighten the skin. Best results are achieved by combining HIFU with Radio Frequency Micro-needling.
We expect results to last 1-2 years, but this can be dependent on other factors, such as lifestyle and maintenance treatments.
